"CYCLEE" is an attempt to create a "harmony of space and
sensation" by loosely connecting a sound installation (venue) and a
personal environment (the individual) through a unique website,
and by entrusting the method of appreciation to the art. Kazuomi
Eshima and Masahiko Takeda's work aims to convey the historic
sound of the orin, a traditional Kyoto craft, by using turntables and
electronic sounds to harmonize it with contemporary space. A
sound installation work placed in unused time and space. The live
streaming of the scenery is accompanied by a simple chat tool and
a button called "States of Mind" that allows the viewer to share
his/her feelings.
The screen changes as each viewer shares the flow
of time and the flux of emotions, modestly influencing each other's
environment. The streaming will take place irregularly, at different
times and places, and the website will be active only during the live
streaming. The time constraints and minimal information provided
are designed to enhance the resolution of the experience of the
work through the medium. The sound installation consists of an
orin, turntable, electronic sounds, and environmental sounds in the
exhibition space, and is designed to create a soundtrack from the
fluctuations caused by sound and the coincidences that combine in
the space. The sound installation consists of an ornament,
turntable, electronic sounds, and environmental sounds in the
exhibition space, and attempts to expand the sound space in real
time by creating a soundscape.
